You've got to admit this report on the satirical site the Onion Sports Network --banning all sports teams from playing in Cleveland-- was hilarious! Who, us Cleveland fans, bitter?

Good Lord Help Me...I'm Following a Steeler

I never thought I'd see this day come.
I've told you how I can never, ever root for the Steelers. That has not changed, at least on the football field. That part is sacred and I will never deviate from that.
I do, however, cover Dancing With The Stars, and I follow all of the pros and their celebrity partners on Twitter. It seems every year there is a former or current NFL player in the cast, and this year that tradition continues. Hines Ward is shoving his cleats in his locker and pulling out his dancing shoes. Black and gold will give way to bright colors and sequins. Running the field is now secondary to waltzes and cha-chas. If he thought his coach was tough, wait till he spends hours learning this kind of footwork from his partner!
I've discovered a few great things about Hines Ward...aside from playing for the Steelers, he's a really great guy. He started the Helping Hands Foundation to aid underprivileged children in both the United States and Korea, and is also involved in several other charities, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As impressive as #86 is as a wide receiver, he is much more impressive off the field as a human being. I only wish he could be a Cleveland Brown instead!
I'm also a huge fan of his dancing partner Kym Johnson, and I'm friends with the very nice lady who runs a fan site for her. (I know she will have a good laugh when she reads this post.) I can't wait to see what Kym does with her famous partner...although hopefully she will not have him dressed in black and gold for any of their routines. (PLEASE KYM, I BEG YOU!!!)
So while I'm still bitter about the Steelers, I am in no way bitter about Hines Ward on DWTS. While my hope is for Kirstie and Maks to claim the trophy, I wish Hines and Kym well and look forward to the first dance on March 21. I also know that if any of his teammates harass him about dancing...he could knock them into next year!
Marie is eagerly anticipating the start of DWTS Season 12...and wants Kirstie Alley to know that she will volunteer to be her stand-in at the show, since she currently wears the same size dress and would have absolutely no problem sidling up to Maks. It's time to have an Organic Liaison!

Who, Us? Bitter?
"Weird. It's almost like the people of Cleveland are bitter and frustrated with their local sports teams. Hm."
This from an article on the Yahoo Sports Blog saying cornerback Eric Wright received death threats last year.
Who, us? Bitter? Nah!!!
But. No matter how bad our secondary was last season, it's not worth a death threat. Just this Bitter Chick's humble opinion.
